Ingredients
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, diced
1 red pepper, sliced
400g can Asda Chopped Tomatoes with herbs
450g pack Asda Turkey Mince
50g fresh breadcrumbs
300g spaghetti
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Method
1Soften the onion in 1 tbsp oil add the carrot, pepper and tomatoes. Partially cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Purée, season, then return to the pan.
2Put the turkey mince and breadcrumbs in a bowl and season. Mix and shape into 20 meatballs.
3Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan and cook the meatballs until they brown (they don’t need to be cooked through). You may need to do this in two batches.
4Add the meatballs to the sauce, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
5Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in boiling water for 10-12 minutes. Drain and serve with the meatballs and sauce.
