Wellbeing Resources

We are continuously looking to improve our resources to better support colleagues.

Throughout any given year we host a variety of events in support of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. We encourage all our colleagues to think about their mental health and take the right steps for them to feel healthier and happier which is why we established our new Asda Wellbeing Index which sits alongside our Colleague Inclusion survey (Your Voice).

The Wellbeing Index helps us understand how we need to support colleagues. And to raise awareness and increase knowledge we offer colleagues ‘Rethink Mental Health’ ambassador training alongside monthly events which cover a range of topics and include guest speakers.

Our colleagues have free, confidential access to health and wellbeing experts 24/7 365 days a year.

Mental Wellbeing

Maintaining open conversations on mental health is vital to breaking stigmas.

We train at least one manager in every store and depot via our partnership with Rethink Mental Illness. Once trained, our managers lead a one-hour session with their teams on recognising the signs of mental ill health, how to support colleagues and where to signpost for further help and support.
