Your Asda online experience is changing

The website and app are getting updated and improved over the next couple of months. All good stuff.

But you might also notice some teething issues at first. This is because we are

  • making some big system updates

  • doing the changes gradually so we can fix issues as we go

Improvements you will see

Some of the improvements you will see are:

  • a map view of where your driver is when they are on the way

  • we will only take payment after you get your order. This means you will not see refunds for items you hand back to us, because we will not charge you for them

  • faster, more relevant search results

  • no sponsored products in Your Favourites

And more improvements to come once we are up and running with our new website and app.

You might notice changes to how the app looks and works

For a short time, your favourites and account settings will be in a different place. You can get to them by tapping the 3 lines in the top left of the app to open the menu.

These are temporary changes. We will keep updating and improving the app.

Voice search is moving too. You will get to it through the keyboard instead.

You are more likely to have issues if changing your delivery address or collection store

  • You might lose your trolley if you book a slot for a different address or collection store than usual. Book your slot first to avoid this

  • You might not see orders that you place for a different address or collection store, or be able to amend them

  • You will not be able to change your slot, delivery address or collection store after you place an order
