Ingredients
500g pack ready to roll puff pastry
2 x 454g packs Extra Special Pork Sausages
Flour for rolling out
200g Asda Chosen by you Mincemeat
1 egg, beaten
Mustard, to serve
Method
1Pre-heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Cut the pastry in half and roll each piece out on a lightly floured surface to 18cm x 36cm strips.
2Make a long cut in the skin of the sausages and remove the skins. Flour your hands and the work surface and shape the sausage meat into 2 sausages, each 36cm long.
3Spread the mincemeat along the centre of the length of each strip of pastry. Put a sausage on top.
4Brush the egg along the length of the pastry on one side, then fold the other side over to make large sausage rolls. Turn over so the join is underneath.
5Cut into 4cm lengths and put on the baking trays. Make 2 cuts in the top of each roll and brush with egg.
6Bake for 25 minutes. Serve warm or cold with mustard.
