Ingredients

500g pack puff pastry, thawed, if frozen

Flour, for rolling out

2 level tsp Dijon mustard

100g pack Asda Extra Special Parma Ham

454g pack Asda Extra Special Pork & Apple sausages

1 free-range egg, beaten

2 level tsp sesame seeds

Method

1
Pre-heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to a 35cm x 30cm rectangle. Cut in half lengthways, spread with the Dijon mustard, leaving a 3cm border. Lay the Parma ham on top of the mustard.
2
Skin the sausages by making a cut along the length of each one, then peeling the skin off. Lay the skinned sausages, end to end on top of the Parma ham.
3
Brush one long side of the pastry with the beaten egg. Carefully roll the pastry round the sausages. Cut each long sausage roll into six even pieces and put on a baking tray, making sure the pastry join is underneath and there's no gap between each roll.
4
Make two small cuts in the top of each sausage roll. Brush with the remaining beaten egg and sprinkle over the sesame seeds. Bake for 25 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
