Ingredients

400g canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed

1 garlic clove, crushed

200g fresh white breadcrumbs

4 tbsp chopped coriander

4 tbsp chopped parsley

3 tbsp sesame oil

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp curry paste

75g sesame seeds

6 tbsp vegetable oil

Wraps, to serve

Cucumber, to serve

Houmous, to serve

Method

Blitz the chickpeas, garlic, breadcrumbs, herbs, sesame oil, soy sauce and curry paste in a food processor (or use a hand-held blender).

Dampen your hands and shape the mixture into balls slightly larger than a £2 coin. Roll in the sesame seeds and press slightly.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the falafel for 2-3 minutes on each side. Leave to cool, then chill until ready to pack.
