Ingredients
4 Pita Breads (chopped into 1 inch pieces)
4 tbsp of Olive Oil
1 Garlic clove, minced
1 large pinch of Salt
2 tbsp Cook! By ASDA Sumac
200g pot ASDA Hummus to serve
Method
1Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line 2 large baking trays with greaseproof paper.
2In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and garlic. Brush the mixture evenly on the pita pieces and season with salt.
3Place the seasoned pita pieces on the lined baking trays and bake for 10-15 or until the pieces are beginning to brown.
4Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the sumac over the chips.
5Allow to cool before serving.
6We styled the pita chips on a glorious grazing board. Optional ingredients to serve with grazing board: Tomatoes, Cucumber, Olives, Feta, ASDA’s Stuffed Peppers with Cream Cheese, ASDA’s Extra Special Hummus topped with Rose Harissa, ASDA’s Red Pepper Hummus and Pomegranate.
