Ingredients

1tsp rapeseed oil

500g Asda Mixed Grain & Seed Bread Mix

Plain flour, for dusting

Method

1
Grease a 24cm nonstick loaf tin with the oil.
2
Put the bread mix in a large bowl and make a well in the middle. Pour in 300ml lukewarm (not hot) water. Mix with a wooden spoon until well combined and the dough is soft and slightly sticky. Add a little more water, if necessary.
3
Tip onto a lightly floured work surface and knead for 10 mins until the dough is elastic when stretched.
4
Shape the dough into a sausage shape and place in the loaf tin. Cover with a damp, clean tea towel and leave in a warm place to rise for 45 mins until doubled in size. Preheat the oven to 230C/210C Fan/Gas 8.
5
Bake the loaf in the centre of the oven for 30 mins until golden, risen and it sounds hollow when tapped on the base. Remove from the tin and cool on a wire rack.
