Ingredients

100g marzipan

300ml double cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

397g can condensed milk, chilled

1 tbsp lemon juice

200g jar Asda Cranberry Sauce, chilled

Extra Special Belgian Chocolate Florentines, to serve (optional)

Method

1
Cut the marzipan into small pieces, about the size of Smarties. Put on a plate lined with baking paper and pop in the freezer while you mix the ice cream.
2
Put the cream and vanilla in a bowl and whip until it just holds its shape but is still soft.
3
Put the condensed milk and lemon juice in another bowl and whisk for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly. Immediately fold into the whipped cream.
4
Gently stir in the cranberry sauce and marzipan. Turn into a plastic container and freeze for at least 8 hours. Serve with florentine biscuits, if you like.
