Ingredients
10g unsalted butter
7 slices bloomer loaf, sliced
100g raspberries
100g blueberries
2 large eggs, beaten
400ml semi-skimmed milk
Method
1Preheat the oven to 160C/140C Fan/Gas 3. Grease an ovenproof dish with the butter.
2Arrange the slices of bread, overlapping, in the dish. Scatter over the raspberries and blueberries.
3Lightly beat together the eggs and milk until evenly blended. Pour over the slices of bread.
4Bake for 40 mins or until golden brown and set in the middle. Rest for 5 mins before serving.
