Ingredients
2 green apples
2 red apples
2tbsp unsalted pistachios
100g chocolate spread
100g smooth peanut butter
2tbsp Fruit Bowl Strawberry Flakes or freeze-dried strawberries
2tbsp dried blueberries
2tbsp flaked almonds
2tbsp yogurt-covered raisins
Method
1Carefully remove the core of each apple with the corer.
2Slice the apples in half across the middle and then each half in half again across the middle – so each apple ends up becoming 4 rings with holes in the middle.
3Chop the pistachios with a large knife and put in a bowl.
4Spread one side of each apple circle with either chocolate spread or peanut butter.
5To finish, sprinkle the apple rings with different combinations of the pistachios, dried fruits, almonds and raisins.
