Ingredients
250g Extra Special Tenderstem Broccoli
100g dry breadcrumbs
40g Asda Pecorino Romano, finely grated
zest 1 lemon
60g plain flour
2 eggs, beaten
60g plain flour
4tbsp Asda 30% Less Fat Sour Cream & Chive Dip
Method
1Preheat the oven to 220C/200C Fan/Gas 7. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2Bring a large pan of water to the boil and cook broccoli for 3 mins. Strain, then place under cold, running water for 1-2 mins until cool.
3Drain, pat dry with kitchen roll, then cut any large pieces in half.
4In a shallow bowl, mix together dry breadcrumbs, pecorino, lemon zest, and plain flour. Put the beaten eggs in another bowl and plain flour in a third.
5Dust the broccoli with the flour, dip in the egg, and finally roll in the breadcrumbs.
6 Bake on the tray for 12-15 mins until crisp and golden.
7Meanwhile, put the sour cream and chive dip in a small bowl and top with chopped chives.
8Serve the ‘fries’ immediately with the dip and lemon wedges.
