Ingredients

300g macaroni pasta

1tbsp cornflour

300ml semi-skimmed milk

100g reduced fat cheddar, grated

8 sundried tomatoes, oil drained, finely chopped, approx. 60g

½ x 325g pack cherry tomatoes, quartered

2tbsp fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped

1tbsp Asda Grated Parmigiano Reggiano Parmesan

Method

Add the pasta to a large bowl and stir in 750ml just-boiled water. Cook in the microwave on high for 8 mins, stirring every 2 mins. Drain well then pour back into the microwavable bowl.

Combine the cornflour with 1tbsp of the milk then add the remaining milk and stir well. Pour the milk over the pasta then add the cheese, sundried and cherry tomatoes and stir well to combine. Season well then microwave again on high for 9 mins, stirring after every 3 mins until the sauce has thickened and combined well.

To serve, stir through the basil leaves and sprinkle with the parmesan.
