Ingredients

227g pack Asda Ripe & Sweet Strawberries

1 tbsp Asda Extra Special Strawberry Conserve

12 Asda Extra Special Mini Meringues

450g Asda Really Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream (or any flavour you like)

300ml Asda Half Fat Crème Fraîche

Hull the strawberries. For the strawberry sauce, chop up most of them (reserving 4–6 whole strawberries) and blend with 1 tbsp strawberry jam until smooth. With a sharp knife, quarter or thinly slice the reserved strawberries.

Start layering the sundaes by dividing ½ the strawberry sauce between 4 sundae glasses. Break a meringue into each glass on top of the sauce. Add a few strawberry slices and a scoop of ice cream.

Repeat the layering once more and then finish with a good dollop of crème fraîche, a crumbled mini meringue, a few strawberries and a final drizzle of the sauce. Serve straight away.
