Ingredients

25g Caster Sugar

1 tsp Pink Peppercorns, ground

350g Strawberries, trimmed

500ml Pink Tonic

200ml Asda London Dry Gin

Method

Mix the sugar and ground peppercorns together in a bowl that is wider than the top of your serving glasses.

In another, similar-sized bowl, add cold water that is about 5mm deep. Dip the rim of each glass first in the water then in the peppercorn mix, before putting to one side until ready to use.

Set 6 strawberries aside for garnish and then place the remaining ones in a blender along with 200ml of the tonic and blend until smooth.

Pour through a sieve into a jug/pitcher, pressing down until all the liquid is through but the seeds remain. Discard the seeds.

Add the gin and stir well before pouring into a jug filled with ice and topping up with the tonic. Dip the strawberries into the remaining peppercorn mix, then serve on the side.
