Ingredients

500g red grapes

500ml prosecco

100ml Cointreau

75g caster sugar

Method

1
Tip the grapes into a non-metallic bowl. Pour over the prosecco and Cointreau and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hr, and up to 3 hrs.
2
Tip the caster sugar into a shallow bowl. Remove the grapes from the prosecco and Cointreau mixture with a slotted spoon and transfer to a colander. (The leftover prosecco mixture makes a wonderfully refreshing party drink – just mix with lemonade and ice.)
3
Wash and drain the grapes and lightly pat dry with kitchen paper. Roll in the caster sugar until well coated and transfer to a serving dish. Serve immediately.
