Ingredients
200g Asda Best for Baking Cakes spread
200g Asda White Chocolate, chopped
300g golden caster sugar
3 large eggs
250g plain flour
1tsp baking powder
102g pack Maltesers, crushed
2 oranges, 1 zested and juiced, 1 thinly sliced
10 Maltesers Orange Bunny
Method
1Preheat the oven to 190C/170C Fan/Gas 5. Grease and line a 20cm square baking tin and a baking tray with baking paper.
2Melt the spread and 150g of the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water, stirring. Or do this in short bursts in a microwave. Set aside to cool slightly.
3Whisk the sugar into the melted chocolate until combined. Whisk in the eggs one by one, followed by the flour and baking powder.
4Gently fold in the remaining white chocolate and 70g of the Maltesers with the zest and juice of 1 orange. Pour the mixture into the tin.
5Bake for 40-45 mins or until firm but still with a slight wobble. After 20 mins, arrange the orange slices on the baking tray and put in the oven, turning over after 10 mins. Remove from the oven.
6Arrange the orange slices and Malteser bunnies on top of the blondie; scatter over the remaining Maltesers.
7Cool in the tin for at least 20 mins then transfer to a wire rack until cold. Cut into 16 to serve.
