Ingredients

300g plain flour

2tsp baking powder

1tsp ground cinnamon

175g golden caster sugar, plus extra for sprinkling

Zest 1 orange

100g butter, melted

150ml buttermilk

100ml semi-skimmed milk

2 large eggs

1tsp vanilla extract

225g red grapes, halved

Method

Preheat the oven to 190C/170C Fan/Gas 5. Line a muffin tray with 12 muffin cases.

Sift the flour, baking powder and cinnamon into a large bowl. Stir in the sugar and orange zest.

Lightly beat together the butter, buttermilk, milk, eggs and vanilla. Gently stir in the grapes and flour mixture. Divide between the muffin cases, then sprinkle with a little caster sugar.

Bake for 25-30 mins. Cool slightly on a cooling rack before serving.
