Ingredients
100g Asda Best for Baking Cakes
2 medium eggs
100g self-raising flour
1tsp Asda 100’s & 1000’s
50g strawberry jam
Method
1Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Line 12 holes of a muffin tin with cupcake cases.
2Beat together the Asda Best for Baking Cakes and sugar until pale and fluffy, then mix in the eggs.
3Stir in the flour and divide the mixture between the cases. Bake for 12-15 mins until risen and golden, then leave to cool completely.
4Cut out a circle from the top of each cupcake, then cut each circle in half. Put the 100’s and 1000’s on a plate. Brush the tops of the half-circles with a little of the jam, then dip into the sprinkles to coat.
5Put 1tsp jam into the hollow on top of each cake, then arrange the half-circles at an angle to look like butterfly wings. Serve and enjoy.
