It was only a matter of time before Netflix's popular <a href="https://www.asda.com/good-living/article/netflix-the-crown" target="_blank">The Crown</a> series introduced the late Princess Diana to their audience, and now we finally know how much longer we have to wait.Showrunner Peter Morgan has finally revealed that Diana will be featured towards the end of Season 3, and she'll be appearing heavily throughout Seasons 4 and 5.The Princess of Wales —often referred to as 'the people's princess'—was, and still arguably remains, the most adored member of the British royal family, so her introduction will undoubtedly be a huge turning point in the popular Netflix series, with many more people tuning in to watch.<img alt="the-crown4" class="ci-image ci-original" src="https://ui3.assets-asda.com/dm/the-crown4_GL?scl=1">Knowing that she'll be introduced towards the end of Season 3, and assuming that each season covers roughly the same amount of time in history (roughly a decade per season), we might expect Season 3 to wrap up around 1977—when a young, 16-year-old Diana first met Prince Charles.Season 3 is sure to make for some serious drama, as Prince Charles was also dating Diana's eldest sister, Lady Elizabeth Sarah Lavinia McCorquodale (née Spencer).Peter Morgan also confirmed that Season 2 will focus more on the back story of Prince Philip and on his relationship with his son Charles: 'We glance backward to Philip's childhood and his upbringing, and how that might have impacted him as a man, a father and as Prince Consort—which is fascinating.'We can't wait!
