<p>If you've ever wanted to go see the Big Apple then next year might be the perfect time to do it!</p><p>Budget airline Norwegian has revealed plans to cut the price of flights from the UK to New York to just £56 one-way starting in summer 2017. What a bargain! </p><p>There are a few caveats, however. For starters, the flights will only depart from Edinburgh, Scotland. Instead, planes will be using other airports in New York State.</p><p>'We&rsquo;ll also be flying to secondary airports in New York,' said Norwegian chief executive Bjorn Kjos to <a href="https://inews.co.uk/essentials/news/business/britons-fly-us-60-next-summer/" target="_blank"><em>inews</em></a>. 'That means we don&rsquo;t pay as much and can charge cheaper fares.'</p><p>This combined with the airline using Boeing 737MAX aircrafts, which burn less fuel than other long-haul planes, means that they can keep costs down.</p><p>However, there are additional costs associated with checked baggage, seat reservation and meals.</p><p>But even after taking those extra costs into consideration, we're still pretty excited about the idea of scoring a flight across the Atlantic for less that £60. New York, here we come! </p>
