Well hold onto your baking trays, because the new batch of bakers mean business.The amateurs set to take on the challenges laid out by Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood this year include a P.E teacher, a garden designer, a financial advisor, a student and a pastor, with several of the keen bunch already giving us a taster of what&rsquo;s to come thanks to tasty looking Instagram posts.Ready to meet the hopefuls? Here&rsquo;s your GBBO 2016 who&rsquo;s-who.Candice, 31, is a secondary school P.E teacher who lives in Bedfordshire with her boyfriend and pet pug called Dennis. She says she learnt the art of baking bread from her father and grandfather who owned a bakery in Hastings, and even gets up at 5am to whip up her own loaves.<img alt="great-british-bake-off-jane" class="ci-image ci-original" src="https://ui3.assets-asda.com/dm/great-british-bake-off-jane_GL?scl=1">Selasi, 30, grew up in Ghana and moved to London with his family 15 years ago. He works as a client service associate for a financial company, but says he still finds time to squeeze in a few baking sessions around his long office hours.<img alt="great-british-bake-off-selasi" class="ci-image ci-original" src="https://ui3.assets-asda.com/dm/great-british-bake-off-selasi_GL?scl=1">Val, 66, is a former primary school head teacher from Yorkshire, but now lives near Yeovil, Somerset, with her husband.
