Crack open a bottle and get the party started with these delicious Scotch concoctions.

<p>This January, make your Burns Night a wee bit special with some delicious cocktails. Kickstart your traditional feast with a toast to Robert Burns &ndash; with his beverage of choice ‘a guid, auld Scotch drink&rsquo;.</p><p>Here are four simple cocktails to honour the memory of Scotland&rsquo;s favourite poet &ndash; Robert Burns &ndash; and to spoil yourself with on your next night in.</p><h2>Old fashioned</h2><p>Rub a piece of orange peel on the inside of a glass. Add a pinch of sugar, 3 dashes Angostura bitters, then 2 shots* whisky and 3 ice cubes. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel and then it&rsquo;s ready to serve!</p><h2>Rusty nail</h2><p>Start classic and pour 2 shots whisky and 1 shot Drambuie over ice. Serve with a twist of lemon peel. Turn up the sweetness by adding an extra dash of Drambuie.</p><p><img alt="burns_night_whisky_sour_cocktail__hero" class="ci-image ci-hero" src="https://ui3.assets-asda.com/dm/burns_night_whisky_sour_cocktail__hero_GL?scl=1"></p><h2>Whisky sour**</h2><p>Add 2 shots whisky, 1 raw egg white, the juice of 1 lemon, 1/4 tsp sugar and 1 drop of vanilla extract into a cocktail shaker. Shake, add a dash of Angostura bitters, then shake until your mixture is light and fluffy. Pour over ice and serve.</p><h2>Rob Roy Manhattan</h2><p>Pour 2 shots whisky, 1 shot red vermouth, a dash of Angostura bitters and 1 tsp Cocktail Syrup Grenadine into a shaker. Stir, add ice, then strain into a martini glass. Top it off with a cherry and a twist of orange peel.
