Bonfire night is a great opportunity for friends and family to come together to enjoy an impressive firework display and devour <a href="https://www.asda.com/good-living/article/meals-in-a-mug" target="_blank">some warming comfort food.</a>But if you're celebrating Guy Fawkes for the first time with little ones*, or perhaps a pet, there are a few rules to bear in mind to ensure the safety of your loved ones. Here are some tips from the <a href="https://www.rospa.com/" target="_blank">Royal Society For The Prevention Of Accidents</a> and the <a href="https://www.rspca.org.uk/adviceandwelfare/pets/general/fireworks" target="_blank">RSPCA</a> to keep your night safe.<h2>safety around Fireworks</h2>1. Plan your firework display to make it safe and enjoyable. 2. In fact, according to the <a href="https://www.rspca.org.uk/adviceandwelfare/pets/general/fireworks" target="_blank">RSPCA</a>, it's estimated that 45% of dogs in the UK show signs of fear when they hear fireworks. To ensure your pet's not alarmed this Bonfire Night, here are a few tips you could try. 1. Walk your dog during daylight hours to avoid times when fireworks are likely to be set off.2. Close windows and curtains to muffle the sound of fireworks. 3. Put on some music or the TV to drown out the noise. 4.
