Adele has finally confirmed that she has tied the knot to her long-term partner Simon Konecki - and we couldn't be happier for her!
The 28-year-old singer shared the exciting news with her fans during a concert in Brisbane, Australia whilst explaining the writing process behind her song, Someone Like You.
She described the moment she first shared the song with someone: “I could see in their eyes as they were listening to it on their headphones that it reminded them of something or someone.
“I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record because as bad as a breakup can be, as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth, and I am addicted to that feeling.”
She added: “Obviously, I can’t go through with those feelings because I’m married now. I’ve found my next person.”
Speculation over the singer's marital status started in February when the star dropped the news about her nuptials at last month’s rather memorable Grammy Awards in LA. During her acceptance speech for winning Album of the Year for 25, she said, 'Grammys, I appreciate it, the Academy, I love you, my manager, my husband and my son – you’re the only reason I do it.”
But, it seemed her off the cuff comment about being married to 42-year-old Simon, nearly went unnoticed because when the outspoken star took to the stage to accept her award she proceeded to dedicate the award to Beyoncé and even broke the award in half!

Simon, who is the father of Adele’s four-year-old son, Angelo, and the CEO of a charity known as Drop4Drop, proposed to the singer in October last year.
